Muhlenberg County Health Department Family Planning Services

The Muhlenberg County Health Department offers Family Planning services based on the sliding fee scale, this ensures that you pay only what you can afford to pay.  We gladly bill Medicaid and other insurances.  We offer many different types of birth control, as well as, emergency contraception and folic acid supplementation.  Services are provided to all women of childbearing age on a confidential basis.  We provide an exam with breast and cervical cancer screening, STD testing and other lab tests as needed.  We also offer condoms to men and women of all ages through the brown bag program–a free anonymous service found near the front desk.
